At today’s regular press briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian announced that citizens holding ordinary passports from Bulgaria, Romania, Malta, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Estonia, Latvia, and Japan will be able to travel to China visa-free from November 30, 2024, to December 31, 2025.
Lin added that the visa-free stay duration will be extended from the current 15 days to 30 days.
He noted that citizens holding ordinary passports from 38 countries, including the nine mentioned, can enter China visa-free for up to 30 days for purposes such as work, tourism, family visits, or exchange programs.
