Earthquake in Southern Chile


Santiago, August 22 (Hibya) - An earthquake of magnitude 7.5 struck southern Chile.

An earthquake of magnitude 7.5 occurred in the Drake Passage off the coast of Chile.

The epicenter was in the Drake Passage at a depth of 10.8 kilometers. A tsunami warning was issued following the earthquake.
