Emergency power outages begin in many regions of Ukraine
Stockholm, December 9 (Hibya) – Emergency power outages have begun in many regions of Ukraine as a result of Russian missile and drone attacks.
The Ukrainian energy company Ukrenergo announced on Tuesday that emergency power outages were introduced in some regions in the early morning hours.
Previously published outage schedules for the affected regions are currently not in effect. The company stated that the energy sector is working to restore a stable electricity supply as quickly as possible.
The announcement said: “Emergency outages will be cancelled once the situation in the energy system stabilizes.”
Consumers were urged to use electricity sparingly if they currently have access to it.
