Hague International Court of Justice: Israel should allow humanitarian aid to Gaza
Stockholm, March 30 (Hibya) – The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague demanded on Thursday that Israel immediately allow humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
The court believes that the problem is no longer a risk of famine, but that the famine in Gaza is already ongoing.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk stated that Israel used starvation as a method of war and that this was a war crime.
Although the UN Security Council called for an immediate ceasefire in the region, the clashes in Gaza still continue.
The UN had already warned of mass starvation in Gaza in February.
