Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi discussed the latest developments in Lebanon with Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib following the establishment of the ceasefire.

Araghchi welcomed the agreement reached, attributing this success to the unwavering resistance of the Lebanese people, the determination of resistance fighters, the wise political stance of Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, and the efforts of the Lebanese government. He also reaffirmed Iran's steadfast support for the Lebanese government, its people, army, and resistance.

Araghchi highlighted the Zionist regime's history of non-compliance with agreements and emphasized the need for Lebanon to remain vigilant in the implementation of the ceasefire.
