Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated in a message marking World Environment Day and Environment Week that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility.

Pezeshkian noted that World Environment Day and Environment Week serve as an important warning regarding the current and future state of life on Earth.

Stressing that all governments and societies should prioritize the sustainability of natural infrastructure in their decision-making processes, Pezeshkian emphasized that environmental protection is not only the responsibility of governments but of all segments of society, saying: "Article 50 of the Constitution places responsibility for environmental protection on everyone, regardless of their position. We are all responsible."
