Lammy: Corruption must never be tolerated
London, December 9 (Hibya) – UK Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy said that corruption makes the country poorer and less secure, undermining the values they stand for.
Lammy stated that corruption makes the United Kingdom poorer and less secure, and that it damages the values they defend.
He noted that it fuels crime and instability both domestically and abroad. Lammy said the government will block the entry of dirty money, strengthen sanction mechanisms, and restore trust.
Lammy emphasized that corruption must never be tolerated.
