Leyen: We continue to uphold our values
Brussels, December 9 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that while making it easier to do business in Europe, they continue to uphold their values.
European Commission President Leyen said she welcomed the political agreement reached on the Omnibus I simplification package.
She noted that with savings of up to 4.5 billion euros, the package will reduce administrative costs, ease the bureaucratic burden, and make compliance with sustainability obligations easier. Leyen added, “While we are making it easier to do business in Europe, we continue to uphold our values.”
