Minister Shahin meets with ILO Director-General Hongbo
Geneva, February 27 (Hibya) - Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Migrant Affairs Dr. Farsin Agabikian Shahin met with the Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO), Gilbert Hongbo, in Geneva.
Minister Shahin called for an urgent intervention by the organization to protect the rights of Palestinian workers and employers, demanding the safeguarding of their rights and compensations.
Hongbo emphasized that the ILO is committed to supporting Palestine and the labor sector in accordance with international conventions and laws, pledging efforts to protect these rights and continue the organization's mission in this area.
