Palestine: Lack of action leads to an increase in occupiers' crimes in the West Bank
Ramallah, February 4 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the lack of international deterrent measures leads to an increase in the crimes committed by the occupiers in the West Bank.
In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the crimes committed by the occupation forces against Palestinian civilians, their property, and infrastructure in the northern camps and villages of the West Bank, particularly in Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas, Al-Far’a, and Tammun.
The ministry confirmed that these crimes constitute a clear violation of international law, international humanitarian law, and the Geneva Conventions, representing an official Israeli policy aimed at deepening the annexation of large portions of the occupied territories.
“The ministry holds the Israeli government fully responsible for the consequences of these policies and calls on the international community to break its silence and assume its legal and moral responsibilities to stop this aggression,” the statement added.
