Qatari and Saudi foreign ministers hold phone call
Doha, May 24 (Hibya) - The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a phone call was held between Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a phone call with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan.
According to the statement, the call addressed cooperation relations between the two countries as well as Pakistan-led mediation initiatives between the United States and Iran. The parties also exchanged views on diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing regional tensions and strengthening security.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani emphasized the importance of all parties contributing constructively to the mediation process aimed at resolving the root causes of the crisis through dialogue and peaceful means.
