Tajani: Our support for the civilians in Gaza continues
Rome, December 9 (Hibya) – Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani stated that while they work to strengthen the ceasefire and consolidate peace in the Middle East, their government continues to support the civilian population in Gaza.
Tajani emphasized that as they work to reinforce the ceasefire and foster peace in the Middle East, the Italian government’s support for Gaza’s civilians continues.
He noted that yesterday they carried out the 17th evacuation from the Gaza Strip, and that during the night Italy received 17 more sick children along with 63 accompanying relatives.
Tajani added that the patients are currently receiving treatment in hospitals, saying: “This humanitarian aid network has made Italy one of the leading countries in accepting Palestinians, and we are deeply proud of this.”
