Tajani: Press freedom is the cornerstone of democracy
Rome, August 22 (Hibya) - Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, in a message of solidarity after threats against Tempo Web, highlighted the importance of press freedom.
Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani stated in a social media post that they stand in solidarity due to the threats directed at Tempo Web.
Tajani said: “Press freedom is one of the cornerstones of democracy, and the Forza Italia political movement will always defend it everywhere in the world.”
The statement also emphasized that journalist Tommaso Cerno will not give up and will continue to work as a free journalist.
