U.S. Marines conduct helicopter sniper and close air support training
Washington, June 9 (Hibya) - The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that troops assigned to the U.S. Marine Corps' 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conducted comprehensive military training while operating in regional waters.
According to a statement released by the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), troops assigned to the U.S. Marine Corps' 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit carried out comprehensive military training while sailing in regional waters.
The troops boarded a UH-1Y Venom helicopter stationed aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli (LHA 7) and conducted exercises involving aerial sniper training and close air support operations.
