Yermak: Presidential Office staff should have war experience
Kyiv, August 22 (Hibya) – Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Andrii Yermak proposed that the office staff should possess proven combat experience in the full-scale war.
Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, Andrii Yermak, said: “We are implementing an important initiative concerning people who have fought on the front lines. They know what discipline, responsibility and brotherhood mean; and most importantly, they know what it means to care.”
Yermak added: “Not all of them are career soldiers; many came from civilian life as volunteers. The state must be grateful to them.”
Regarding his reform proposal, Yermak stated: “A significant part of the office staff should consist of active service members or combat veterans with experience in the full-scale war. This applies to every department.”
Illustrating the performance of staff with war experience, Yermak pointed to his deputy, Colonel Pavlo Palisa: “Even in office, he demonstrates the same speed, honesty, and principled stance.”
Yermak also referred to the new United States sanctions against Iran’s energy sector, saying: “This is a concrete step against those who finance terrorism and threaten international security. We are coordinating our actions with our allies.”
