Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

In Türkiye, a digital declaration system has been implemented under a new regulation on organ transplantation processes. Within the scope of the regulation that came into force on September 26, 2025, citizens can become organ donors via e-Devlet and e-Nabız.

The new system aims to make organ donation procedures faster and more accessible, while also shortening processes for patients awaiting transplants across the country.

Prof. Dr. Burak Işık from the Organ Transplant Center of Güven Hospital emphasized the vital importance of organ donation, stating that organ transplantation is the only treatment option for some diseases. He noted that thanks to the digital system, donor consent is recorded more securely and transparently.

It was reported that organ donation declarations made via e-Devlet are given priority. Experts state that this practice could contribute to increasing organ donations from deceased donors.

According to the Ministry of Health, more than 33 thousand patients in Türkiye are waiting for organ transplants. While Türkiye stands out in transplants from living donors, it is emphasized that donation rates from deceased donors need to be increased.

Citizens can become donors by accessing the "Organ and Tissue Donation" service via the e-Devlet system. A donation declaration can also be created via e-Nabız.

With the new application, it is aimed to manage organ donation processes more systematically and increase the number of donors.
