A group of Iranians indicted of hacking Trump's candidacy
Washington, September 27 (Hibya) - West Coast media reported that a group of Iranians have been charged with allegedly stealing data from the computer system of Donald Trump's candidacy and sending it to the media and Biden's campaign office.
US authorities have charged a group of Iranians accused of hacking into the computer system of former US President Donald Trump's campaign office.
The charges have not yet been made public, but Politico newspaper, citing unnamed sources, said the individuals gained information about internal communications in the campaign office. This information was then sent to journalists and people associated with US President Joe Biden's candidacy. Biden decided to withdraw, and Vice President Kamala Harris ran instead.
It is not clear how many people have been charged or who the accused are. The indictment is expected to be released by the end of this week or early next week.
