Al Hanzab met with Gagnon and Smith
Doha, May 2 (Hibya) – Ambassador Faisal bin Abdullah Al Hanzab, Special Envoy of the Qatari Foreign Minister, met with Georgette Gagnon, Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Afghanistan, and Scott Smith, Director of Political Affairs at the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), during his visit to Afghanistan.
According to a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Special Envoy Ambassador Faisal bin Abdullah Al Hanzab met with Georgette Gagnon and Scott Smith during his visit to Afghanistan.
The meeting addressed the relations between the State of Qatar and the United Nations, recent developments in Afghanistan, and preparations for the 4th International Conference on Afghanistan to be held in Qatar under UN auspices.
