Qatar's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Her Excellency Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani, attended the UN Security Council's open session in New York on "Women's Peacebuilding in a Changing Environment".
During the meeting, Al-Thani reaffirmed her commitment to work with the international community to promote the role of women in peace and security. She emphasized that supporting the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda is essential to achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
