Albares: We celebrate Spanish Language Day
Madrid, April 23 (Hibya) – Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, emphasized the global importance of the Spanish language and its place in foreign policy in a statement for World Spanish Language Day.
Minister Albares stated that Spanish connects 600 million people worldwide and is not only a language of communication but also of culture, literature, science, international cooperation, and diplomacy.
He added that promoting the Spanish language globally is one of the priorities of Spain’s foreign policy.
