Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi stated that the E3 countries (Germany, France, United Kingdom) had seven years to fulfill their commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and they completely failed—either deliberately or due to incompetence.

Araghchi emphasized that instead of showing remorse or a willingness to facilitate diplomacy, the E3 are now fueling conflict with an absurd demand to punish Iran for its response to the other side’s failure to meet its JCPOA obligations.

“As I warned before: another major strategic mistake by the E3 will FORCE Iran to respond STRONGLY. The blame will lie solely and ENTIRELY with the malicious actors who have destroyed their own significance.”
