Araghchi said that the deadly support for the genocide in Gaza and launching a war in Yemen in Netanyahu’s name brought nothing to the American people.

He noted that Netanyahu arrogantly attempted to dictate to U.S. President Donald Trump what he could and couldn’t do in diplomacy with Iran, and added:

“The world also learned that Netanyahu directly interfered with the U.S. Government to drag our region into another disaster. He tricked the failed Biden Team into handing over an unprecedented 23 billion U.S. taxpayer dollars. This is part of the cost of any mistake made against Iran.”

Araghchi concluded: “If, as President Trump just said, the goal is ‘the only thing they can’t have is a nuclear weapon’, then a deal is possible – and there is only one path: diplomacy based on mutual respect and shared interests. The Netanyahu-first minority who fears diplomacy has already exposed their true agenda. The world must be careful when defining its real priorities.”
