Araghchi: Threats from the Israeli regime are nothing new
Tehran, May 22 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi stated that they will not hesitate to respond firmly to any violation and will spare no effort in defending their interests and people.
Foreign Minister Araghchi noted that threats from the Israeli regime are not new, saying, “However, the recent leak that U.S. officials revealed Israel’s illegal plans to attack Iran and its nuclear facilities is alarming and requires immediate and serious condemnation by the UN Security Council and the IAEA.”
In a letter to UN Secretary-General Guterres and IAEA Director General Grossi, Araghchi stated that he called on the international community to take effective preventive measures against continued Israeli threats, adding:
“I stated that if these threats are not contained, Iran will be forced to take special measures to defend its nuclear facilities and materials. My letter serves as a warning before any serious action.”
Araghchi emphasized, “The Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate to respond firmly to any violation and will spare no effort to protect its interests and its people.”
