At least 50 dead in nightclub fire in North Macedonia
Belgrade, March 16 (Hibya) - The MIA news agency, citing the local Ministry of the Interior, reported that at least 50 people were killed in a fire that broke out in a nightclub in Kočani, North Macedonia.
The fire at the "Puls" nightclub occurred around 03:00, likely due to the use of pyrotechnics during a concert by the Macedonian band DNK.
Reports indicate that approximately 1,500 people attended the event. Dozens of victims have been hospitalized in different cities across the country.
Prime Minister Christian Mickoski and members of the government arrived at the scene, as emergency services and local residents are assisting the injured.
