Albanian President Begaj congratulated his Azerbaijani counterpart on the successful hosting of COP29 in Azerbaijan.

Begaj noted that, in addition to political relations, cooperation between Azerbaijan and Albania is progressing successfully in the fields of economy, trade, energy, tourism, and other sectors. He also highlighted the importance of the TAP project.

President Aliyev emphasized the friendly ties between Azerbaijan and Albania, praised the successful development of cooperation in the energy sector, and highlighted Azerbaijan's role in Albania's gasification project.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on cooperation opportunities and key issues on the bilateral agenda.
