Bermudez: 50 years have passed since the Cuban plane was brought down
Havana, October 6 (Hibya) - Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez issued a statement marking the 50th anniversary of the downing of a Cubana de Aviacion aircraft that killed 73 people.
Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez said 50 years had passed since the terrorist attack on a Cubana de Aviacion aircraft in which 73 people were killed.
Diaz-Canel said most of those who lost their lives were young people returning home after winning medals at the Central American Fencing Championship.
