Secretary Blinken highlighted that the enduring alliance with the Republic of Korea is crucial amid escalating North Korean provocations and geopolitical challenges.
Blinken announced that he, alongside Defense Secretary Lloyd James Austin, will invite the Republic of Korea’s Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul and Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun to the State Department to further advance their strategic partnership.
