Borrell: The will of the Venezuelan people must be respected
Brussels, 29 July (Hibya) - The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, said that the people's will in the elections held in Venezuela must be respected.
Borrell noted that Venezuelans voted peacefully for the future of their country with a high turnout and said:
"The will of the people must be respected. Ensuring full transparency of the electoral process, detailed counting of votes, and access to voting records are vital."
