CENTCOM Commander General Kurilla Visits Israel for the Second Time in a Week
Jerusalem, August 9 (Hibya) - Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesman Admiral Daniel Hagari announced that U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander General Michael Erik Kurilla visited Israel for the second time in a week.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesman Admiral Daniel Hagari announced that CENTCOM Commander General Michael Erik Kurilla arrived in Israel yesterday as the official guest of Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, marking his second visit to Israel within a week.
Hagari noted that the Chief of Staff and CENTCOM Commander conducted a joint assessment of security and strategic issues concerning the Middle East. They also visited the Air Force Command and held a situation briefing with Air Force Commander Major General Tomer Bar.
Spokesman Hagari added, "The Israel Defense Forces will continue to deepen its ties with the U.S. military as part of its commitment to enhancing regional stability and improving coordination between the armies."
