Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

A teenager was reported to the police for allegedly sneaking around the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence overnight and climbing the Cupola del Brunelleschi to take a selfie.

A man wearing a black hoodie, jeans, and sneakers was filmed walking up the interior stairs of the World Heritage site before reaching the dome level, stepping onto a small platform outside, and taking a photo of himself.

The stuntman's footage was posted on the Instagram account @dedelate, which has more than 227,000 followers. The person is believed to have been hiding inside the cathedral before it closed. An accomplice filmed the alleged abuse from outside the cathedral and caught the protagonist fleeing the building.

The identity of the teenager has not been officially disclosed. Still, Italian media reports said he was a 17-year-old from Lombardy who was accused of similar selfie-oriented challenges at Milan Cathedral in May.

Luca Bagnoli, President of the Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore, said a complaint had been filed with the police.

"We have learned that Brunelleschi's dome has been trespassed on," Bagnoli told La Nazione newspaper. Florence's cathedral is a sacred and monumental world heritage site. But unfortunately for some, it is also a playground, which is regrettable. The relevant authorities will take care of the rest."
