Rome, October 6 (Hibya) - Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto made a statement regarding the Italian army's demolition of a structure in Torre Annunziata that was said to belong to the Camorra.
Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto said the Italian army demolished a structure in Torre Annunziata reportedly used by the Camorra and returned the area for public use.
Crosetto said such operations should also be considered part of defense spending, adding, "These are defense expenditures too. The expenditures that some call 'weapons spending'."
The Italian minister said the army's work means protecting communities, strengthening the rule of law and building the future.
