Dar meets CPC International Liaison Department head Haixing
Beijing, January 4 (Hibya) – Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishak Dar met with Liu Haixing, head of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC), during his visit to China.
According to a statement from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishak Dar met with Liu Haixing, head of the CPC International Liaison Department, to discuss strategic cooperation.
Dar congratulated Haixing on the successful convening of the 4th Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
The statement noted: “Both sides expressed satisfaction with the stable and forward-looking trajectory of bilateral relations, and reviewed mutual contacts, regional developments, and progress in various projects under the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).”
During the meeting, consensus was reached on commemorating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in an appropriate and meaningful manner.
