Prime Minister Dick Schoof of the Netherlands, Minister for Climate and Green Growth Sophie Hermans, Minister for Economy Dirk Beljaarts, and Secretary of State for Infrastructure and Water Management Chris Jansen met with company representatives.

Schoof noted that they discussed competitiveness and sustainability with representatives of companies with high energy needs and said, "There are great concerns about the future in the industrial sector. Industry is critical to our ability to generate revenue, local employment, and our strategic autonomy. That’s why it’s very important to keep in dialogue with them."
