England defeats the Netherlands to face Spain in the final
Dortmund, July 11 (Hibya) - In the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024) Semi-Final match, England defeated the Netherlands 2-1 to advance to the final, where they will face Spain.
In the European Football Championship held in Germany, the Netherlands and England faced off in the semi-finals.
The match, officiated by German referee Felix Zwayer, was held at BVB Dortmund Stadium. In the 7th minute, Xavi Simons scored a goal to put the Netherlands ahead 1-0. In the 18th minute, Harry Kane scored to level the score at 1-1. The first half ended with this score.
In the 90+1 minute, Ollie Watkins scored a goal to put England ahead 2-1. This result secured England's place in the final. England and Spain will face off in the final on Sunday at 22:00.
