Estonian and Ukrainian foreign ministers discuss sanctions and support measures
Tallinn, October 12 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna announced that during his meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, they discussed increasing sanctions against Russia, using frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine, and advancing Ukraine's accession process to the European Union (EU).
In a post on his social media account, Tsahkna noted that Russia's attacks on Ukraine were continuing and said Europe needed to increase pressure on Moscow.
The meeting also reportedly addressed support to be provided to Ukraine ahead of winter and preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2027), scheduled to take place in Estonia in 2027.
