Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna sends condolence message for Connolly
Tallinn, May 22 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna issued a condolence message following the death of former United States House Representative Gerry Connolly.
Minister Tsahkna expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former U.S. Representative Gerry Connolly.
He stated that Connolly was a strong advocate of NATO: “He played an important role in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and tirelessly defended the transatlantic Alliance and its core democratic values.”
Tsahkna added: “When we met last autumn in Tallinn, we had a meaningful discussion about our shared commitment to the transatlantic partnership and the critical importance of supporting Ukraine.”
