EU Commission Vice President Kallas spoke with Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi
Brussels, May 5 (Hibya) – EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas held a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi.
Kallas stated that during the call, they emphasized the EU’s support for diplomacy on nuclear issues and de-escalation of regional tensions.
She called on Iran to halt its military support to Russia and expressed concerns about detained EU citizens and human rights. “EU-Iran relations depend on progress in all areas,” she added.
