Flags Lowered in the European Parliament for Spain
Brussels, October 31 (Hibya) - European Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced that flags were lowered in honor of those who lost their lives in the floods in Spain.
European Parliament President Metsola stated that the flags in the European Parliament were lowered to half-mast in solidarity with the people of Spain and in mourning for the victims of the tragic flood disaster.
Metsola said, “Europe stands with Spain. We will face this together.”
