Frieden: Luxembourg condemns the use of force against protesters
Luxembourg, Jan. 9 (Hibya) – Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden said they are closely monitoring the ongoing protests in Iran.
Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden made a statement regarding the social events and the pursuit of rights in Iran.
Emphasizing that they are following the process closely, Frieden said, “We are closely monitoring the situation in Iran; for weeks, people have been organizing protests with great courage to defend their rights.”
Clearly setting out his country’s stance, Frieden concluded by saying, “Luxembourg condemns the use of force against protesters and expresses its solidarity with the people of Iran.”
