Ghebreyesus: Life-saving supplies in Sudan are running out
Geneva, September 3 (Hibya)—Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), stated that hospitals in Sudan have closed and that life-saving supplies are running out.
Director-General Ghebreyesus reminded that the conflict in Sudan has exceeded 500 days, reporting the closure of hospitals and the depletion of life-saving supplies.
Ghebreyesus said, "A ceasefire and unhindered humanitarian access are the best ways to prevent the health crisis from deteriorating further."
