Ghebreyesus: No woman should die while giving birth
Geneva, July 7 (Hibya) - World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that no woman should die while giving birth.
WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus emphasized that no woman should die while giving birth, saying:
“In the Kigoma region of Tanzania, maternal deaths were increasing due to difficulty accessing health facilities. Thanks to Ambassador Tone Tinnes and the WHO Country Office in Tanzania, maternal deaths in the region have been reduced.”
