Geneva, August 31 (Hibya)—World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus emphasized the need to take precautions against non-communicable diseases like heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.
WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus stressed the importance of taking precautions when it comes to non-communicable diseases like heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, stating, "Risk factors such as unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, tobacco use, and alcohol consumption can increase our vulnerability."
Ghebreyesus noted that to reduce risk and support overall well-being, it is essential to prioritize healthy lifestyle choices, regular exercise, balanced nutrition, avoiding tobacco, and moderating alcohol intake, adding, "Take responsibility for your health today."
