Sana, December 27 (Hibya) - World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced that the United Nations Humanitarian Air Service (UNHAS) staff injured in the Sana airport attack in Yemen has been evacuated and is now in Jordan for further medical treatment.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that the UNHAS staff injured in yesterday's Sana airport attack has been evacuated and is currently receiving treatment in Jordan.
In his statement, Ghebreyesus expressed his deepest gratitude to the UNHAS team for the swift evacuation from Yemen, where the UN mission was negotiating the release of detained colleagues. He emphasized, "Attacks on civilians and humanitarian workers must stop everywhere."
