Ghebreyesus: WHO and partners deployed 17 mobile health teams in Afghanistan
Geneva, May 14 (Hibya) - Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), reported that the World Health Organization and its partners have deployed 17 mobile health teams in Afghanistan.
Ghebreyesus stated that they are providing essential drugs and medical supplies to affected communities, adding: "In response to the devastating floods that resulted in over 300 deaths and extensive damage to homes and health facilities in Afghanistan, WHO and its partners deployed 17 mobile health teams.
