Grandi: Over 50,000 Lebanese and Syrians have fled from Israeli attacks
Geneva, 28 September (Hibya) - UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi announced that more than 50,000 Lebanese and Syrians living in Lebanon have fled to Syria to escape Israeli airstrikes.
UN High Commissioner for Refugees Grandi stated that more than 50,000 Lebanese and Syrians have fled to Syria to escape Israeli airstrikes.
Grandi noted that more than 200,000 people have been displaced within Lebanon, adding: “Relief operations continue in coordination with both governments, including UNHCR, to provide aid to all in need.”
