Grandi: "Some refugees prefer to return home safely in some places"
United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi stated that some refugees prefer to return home safely in some places and announced that 10,000 Cameroonians returned to their homes two years ago.
Grandi emphasized that some refugees may prefer to return home safely in some places, saying: "For example, two years ago, 10,000 people returned to their homes in Cameroon through the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) among those who fled to Chad. We wish them good luck!"
