Guterres: Aid and development funds are running out
New York, June 3 (Hibya) – United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stated that insecurity and divisions are widespread, and that aid and development funds are running out.
Guterres said that conflicts, climate disasters, poverty, and inequality continue to threaten the human family.
Highlighting the widespread insecurity and divisions, he said: “Aid and development funds are depleting. Our institutions still reflect the world of yesterday, not the vision of tomorrow.”
Guterres added: “This is a time to unite, to create joint solutions, and to act to face these challenges.”
