Guterres: "Reports of Israel's Intention to Focus on Rafah are Concerning"
United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed concern over reports indicating that the Israeli army intends to focus on Rafah.
UN Secretary-General Guterres pointed out that half of Gaza's population is now trapped in Rafah, where there is already no room for retreat, and added: "Reports of Israel's intention to focus on Rafah are concerning. Such actions will only exacerbate the humanitarian nightmare, which already has unknown regional consequences."
