Guterres: UNRWA provides education to over half a million students


New York, April 2 (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres announced that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) provides education to over half a million students.

In his statement, Guterres said, "UNRWA, as a beacon of hope, provides education to over half a million students, including these girls I met last week in Jordan. UNRWA must be allowed to continue providing vital services to keep hope alive."
