Harris briefed on Lebanon situation by Irish Chief of Staff
Dublin, March 28 (Hibya) – Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Defence, and Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris received an update on the situation in Lebanon from the Chief of Staff of the Irish Defence Forces.
Minister Harris, who also serves as Deputy Prime Minister, was briefed by the Chief of Staff of the Irish Defence Forces regarding the situation in Lebanon.
Harris confirmed that all Irish troops deployed to Lebanon with UNIFIL are safe and in good condition, stating: "It was an honour for me to be with them this week. This fragile ceasefire must be supported by all."
